Who we are

This website is operated by KY Labs, a product development studio. This policy explains what information we collect through the site and how we handle it.

Information we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect:

• Your name, email address, project type and project description (required).
• Your company, phone number, budget range and desired timeline (optional).

We do not ask for more than we need, and you should not include sensitive personal information in your message.

How and why we use it

We use this information only to read and respond to your inquiry and to assess whether and how we can help with your project. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

How inquiries are processed

Submissions are sent to our business inbox through Resend, a transactional email service provider that acts on our behalf to deliver the message. Our website host, Cloudflare, also processes standard technical data (such as IP address) as part of serving pages and protecting the form against abuse; the form applies short-lived rate limiting for this purpose. These providers are based in the United States, so your information may be processed outside Canada.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

Retention

We keep inquiry emails for up to 24 months, unless a business relationship develops, in which case we keep records for as long as needed for that relationship and our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your inquiry sooner.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form data is validated and handled on the server, and access to our systems and inbox is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your rights and privacy requests

You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent where it applies. To make a request or ask a privacy question, email info@kylabs.dev or use the contact form.

We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The date above shows when it was last updated.
