Working demo
Course registration
Fill your classes without the emails, the spreadsheet or the awkward “sorry, it’s full”.
What would you like to learn?
The problem
Why this is worth building
Many small studios take sign-ups through a contact form, then track who has paid in a spreadsheet. People wait for a reply to learn if there is room, classes oversell, and when someone drops out the owner has to work through a list of emails to fill the seat.
Who could use this
Pottery and art studios, cooking schools, music teachers, dance and yoga: anyone running classes with limited seats.
Design decisions
Why it works the way it does
Nothing here is an accident. These are the choices that made it feel obvious.
- 1
The decision-making facts are on the list
Day, time, price and spots left all show before anyone clicks. People compare courses without opening each one.
- 2
A full course is never a dead end
The button simply changes to “Join the waitlist”, and the student sees their place in line. Interest the studio would have lost is kept.
- 3
Empty seats fill themselves
Remove a student and the next person on the waitlist moves up automatically. The owner does nothing, and the class stays full.
- 4
Scarcity that is true
Spot counts come straight from the class list, so “1 spot left” is always real. Honest urgency builds trust and still encourages people to decide.
For your business
What it would take to make this yours
A demo proves the experience. A real version runs on your rules and connects to your tools. Typical additions:
- Online payment, deposits and refunds through your payment provider
- Automatic welcome emails, class reminders and waitlist offers
- Multi-week terms, drop-ins, gift cards and sibling or returning-student discounts
- A student account with past courses and easy re-enrolment
